Description: Trailhead Hideaway offers a relaxing and peaceful environment in Ruidoso’s scenic and historic Upper Canyon – The cabin is surrounded by the Lincoln National Forest and is very close to the hiking trails of Perk Canyon. You can enjoy the great views of the surrounding forest year round from many locations on the property. The large open deck off the great room is perfect for enjoying the cool summer days, while the view from inside is just as spectacular on those snowy winter days where you can keep warm by the wood burning fireplace. The private Hot Tub located to the side of the cabin is perfect year round and is a great spot to watch for wildlife. The Cabin has an open living area which includes the great room, kitchen and dining area so it's a great place for families and friends to gather and spend time. Wildlife is abundant - humming birds galore during the summer months and many other bird species year round – Deer roam thru the property on a frequent basis and in the warmer months the occasional Black Bear can be sighted. This cabin is in the perfect location – surrounded by the National Forest – but only minutes away from all Ruidoso has to offer. This is a true hikers delight!

Please remember - Ruidoso is a MOUNTAIN TOWN, weather conditions can be unpredictable, many locations can be difficult to access in the winter and we highly recommend 4WD and/or tire chains in the winter months.
