Welcome to Place 2 B at Enchanted Hideaway—a large, single-level studio designed primarily for guests who need a wheelchair-accessible lodging option in Ruidoso.

IMPORTANT: PLACE 2 B HAS THREE QUEEN-SIZE SLEEPING SURFACES AND SLEEPS UP TO 6 GUESTS. THERE IS NO KING BED. Some original photographs may show a king bed, but the current setup consists of one queen bed, one queen Murphy bed, and a sofa that reconfigures into a queen bed. The main queen bed also has convenient electrical hookups for charging phones and other devices.

Accessibility is the focus here. The cabin has a ramped entrance, is entirely on one level, and features an ADA-style bathroom with grab bars, an elongated tub, and a roll-in shower. The open studio layout also makes it easier to maneuver throughout the main living and sleeping area.

The kitchen is fully contained within the studio but has an unconventional split layout, with part of the kitchen on one side of the room and the remainder on the opposite side. It may look a little unusual, but it provides the essentials for preparing meals during your stay.

Outside, guests have access to a BBQ, and we provide the gas.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING: Place 2 B is intentionally a practical, accessible lodging option rather than a scenic mountain cabin. Up to six guests are sleeping in essentially one large studio room. There is only one window, and the primary view is toward the parking area. The unit also shares a connecting passage door with the neighboring unit; this door is permanently locked from both sides and cannot be opened by guests.

Anyone is welcome to book Place 2 B, but it is especially well suited for guests who need wheelchair accessibility. We disclose the unusual layout, limited view, single-window design, and shared locked passage door upfront so you can decide whether this property is right for your group before booking.

Cabin-side parking is available but snug. If bringing two vehicles, one may need to be parked elsewhere within the Enchanted Hideaway complex. PLEASE DO NOT BRING THREE VEHICLES.

If accessibility and functionality matter more to you than views and a traditional cabin layout, Place 2 B provides a convenient Ruidoso base with sleeping space for up to six guests.

 

RUIDOSO IS A MOUNTAIN TOWN, 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND TIRE CHAINS IS HIGHLY RECCOMENDED DURING SNOW STORMS, WE ICE AND PLOW OFTEN BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO MAKE IT TO EVERY LOCATION IN A TIMELY MANNER.
