DESCRIPTION: The Shelby Bear cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood off Scenic Drive. It has a wonderful front deck that is elevated so you can truly enjoy the forest views and nature that frequent the area. The back entrance only has 1 step so no heavy climbing required. Besides the wonderful views, you will enjoy the covered deck out back with a gas bbq grill where you can prepare some sizzling steaks or burgers for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with all the tools to make up some scrumptious meals, and a bonus wine cooler so your beverages can be chilled to the perfect temperature. The entire cabin exudes the mountain feel that Ruidoso has become so popular for, with a touch of modern conveniences to enhance your stay. You will feel the charm from all the detailed artwork throughout the cabin and the freshness from the tasteful updates that make Shelby Bear the perfect home away from home. There's loads of room for the whole family with 3 private bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master suite is located on the upper level and will make you feel like you are in a storybook with the Victorian style vaulted ceilings and décor. There's plenty of space to escape and once you see the master bath you'll be counting down the minutes until you can soak the day away in the spa whirlpool, or just meditate under the rain shower. Just off the master suite is an open loft where you can sneak away and enjoy a good book or two. The additional bedrooms are on the main living area and share a full bath. There's a washer /dryer that separates the rooms so no need to pack heavy. Each of these bedrooms have sliding doors leading out onto the front and back decks, making it convenient to sneak out for an evening view of the starry skies. This cabin is very tastefully decorated and will surely be a place you'll want to return to time and time again. After a day of golf, skiing and other activities Ruidoso has to offer you'll be sure to enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire, or in the warmer months cool off outdoors in the mountain air. Take in all the Wildlife from the comfort of your private deck – hummingbirds and many other bird species frequent your feeder – Deer roam thru the property and surrounding area year round and in the warmer months the occasional Black Bear can be sighted. This cabin is in the perfect location – but only minutes away from all Ruidoso has to offer. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads.
